Selected Exhibition Awards Evening

Friday evening was the awaited Selected Exhibition Awards Night and Social. All 30 accepted pictures were returned to Littleworth and displayed together for everyone to admire. Everyone waited eagerly for the results- a 'Highly Commended'  and 'Best' for each of the 6 categories- Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Pastel, Mixed Media and Other, Portraits.

The judgements were made by Clare Lord and Arthur Tindell, both well known local artists.

The Presentations culminated in announcing  Best in Show, and Reserve Best In Show .

The social evening that followed included Music by Ed, who sang and played guitar and mandolin - with plenty of audience participation. A great buffet had been laid out for everyone to help themselves.  A huge thankyou to Carole and Kaye for organising and delivering such a wonderfully prepared evening.  And thanks also to our 'Master of Ceremonies' , our Chairman  Cliff.  Many  thanks of course to Clare and Arthur for attending and presenting all the certificates and awards. 

A brilliant evening, enjoyed by all, and a time to feel proud of the amazing art work produced by Stafford Art Group. 

All 30 accepted images will be on display at Eccleshall Church shortly .
