Autumn Gifts
This is one of my favourite paintings, created with acrylic paint and palette knives. I've always loved the bright colours and wonderful textures to be found on squashes and pumpkins, and it was a real pleasure to recreate these in paint. My husband grows these in his allotment, and we eat them throughout the winter. They're not only beautiful to look at but delicious too!

Background:
Theresa is a local artist who finds inspiration in nature and all around her. She likes to vary the medium used, including oils, acrylics, watercolour, ink and pencil. She also likes to vary her subject matter, from landscapes to flowers, portraits and pet portraits. She is now thoroughly enjoying having more time to pursue her artistic endeavours, having retired three years ago.
