Bishton Hall 14th July

 On a very warm ,sunny afternoon, the hardy members of SAG arrived to sketch within the grounds of Bishton Hall. We were all scattered around the gardens, seeking out shade, as well as a good view. The images in the gallery show work in progress from all the attendees. So many people commented on how restful and peacefull the afternoon was , as well as a lady walking her dog, who commented on how lovely it was to see so many artists sketching and painting in the grounds. 

These sketching afternoons, working plein air, are benefitting a lot more than just our artistic needs- but doing a great deal for mental well being too. Dont forget to come and join us next time. 28th July at Wolseley Nature Reserve. See you there.
