Autumn Gifts
This was one of my favourite paintings, created with acrylic paint and palette knives. I've always loved the bright colours and wonderful textures to be found on squashes and pumpkins, and it was a real pleasure to recreate these in paint. My husband grows these in his allotment, and we eat them throughout the winter. They're not only beautiful to look at but delicious too!

Background:
Theresa was a local artist who found inspiration in nature and all around her. She liked to vary the medium used, including oils, acrylics, watercolour, ink and pencil. She also liked to vary her subject matter, from landscapes to flowers, portraits and pet portraits.
Work is all Acrylic on stretched canvas unless otherwise stated.
