I have always enjoyed messing with paint in many mediums and draw inspiration from various subjects. I do commissioned pet portraits in pastel on velour paper. But the thing I enjoy most is oil painting en plein air and still life. I am inspired by Victorian and contemporary Impressionism and interested in capturing the effects of light and the affect this has on colour. I have recently been doing studies using oil with a palette knife using the Henry Hensche method of painting light.
