Knutsford Plein Air Painting Competition - Garry Hartley

Many thanks to Garry Hartley for sharing his experience of a painting competition, also entered by Sarah Stanley-another SAG member. 

"29 Artists and me entered the Discover Knutsford plein air painting competition on Sunday - Sarah was one of the 29 and presented an amazing piece. Nice day for it too - blank canvasses were stamped from 09:30 and handed in by 4:30 for judging by the Mayor with help from a Gallery owner. First time comp for me - you have to start somewhere The Knutsford Town Council social media pages - Discover Knutsford - will be updated soon and the 3rd prize will be a public vote"

SAG day at the National Arboretum 30th July 24 - a hot sunny day with a mixture of monument observing and sketching. This is such a great place for artists and right on our doorstep.

Saturday 30th October was a Play Day at Littleworth. Below is a selection of images that gives you a flavour of the day. Huge thanks to Carole and Shiela for organising the event  and inspiring the attendees to create a wonderful range of mono prints. We learnt, experimented, chatted and created- a most informative and enjoyable day !
