Hi, I'm Kiera and I'm 13 years old.

Whilst I can draw in a traditional sense, by hand, pencils to paper, I mostly enjoy doing digital art.

For my art I use my I-pad and Apple pencil. The software I use is Pro-create. People tend to assume that digital art is easier than traditional art, but I don't agree with this at all. I still have to do all the drawing myself, the shading, highlighting etc....it's just done using a tablet/computer as opposed to using a canvas and brushes/pencils. It's not an easier art form, just different - a more modern approach in the art world.

Predominantly, I like to draw anime-style characters. But I also enjoy drawing inanimate objects - focusing on the detail whilst adding some of my own artistic flare.

My art is mostly self-taught but school has taught me a lot as well.

I enjoy art as it's a way to express myself and to show my interests to others. I love to challenge myself and to find new and creative ways in which to add texture, shading, highlights etc to my drawings.
