Foxfield -Summer Sketching.

What a scorcher! Today our Summer Sketching was at Foxfield Steam Railway. It is a delightful little railway tucked away in Blythe Bridge, Stoke on Trent. A wonderful venue to sketch the old railway buildings, steam trains, the station and the workers who keep this little gem of a station going.

Understandably, the turn-out today was fewer than usual, but well done to those who braved the heat, found a shady spot, and sketched and painted . It was quite relaxing to be drawing and painting with the sound of the train , steam gushing, rails clanking, children laughing. Many thanks to David Benbow for arranging it.
