Artists Exhibiting and Selling Their Works 

Stafford Art Group is a not for profit organisation, its members are local artists who meet together every week to meet friends and share a common interest in the visual arts in all its forms.

The Group welcomes all from the absolute beginner to the professional artist. and because it is essentially a gathering of friends membership does not attract the high fees and charges often associated with commercial organisations.

For as little as £50 a member might attend two meetings each week with opportunities to  paint or sketch live models, enjoy demonstrations by guest artists and other special events of interest to the arts community..

A highlight of the arts year for many members is the opportunity to exhibit and offer for sale works at the  group's long established Spring and Winter Exhibitions..

Making these events accessible to all is important and that is reflected in the charges: 

A member might exhibit up to four works for a nominal fee of just five pounds.

When it comes to sales these exhibition's have a record that would be the envy of many permanent galleries often  selling between ten and twenty percent of all works exhibited.

Successful exhibitors donate just 10% to Group funds.
